Melanie Timbrell has been appointed journalist at Financial Standard following the exit late last year of Matt Woodington who returned to the UK.
In an email announcing the appointment this afternoon, Financial Standard Head of Media and Publisher, Michelle Baltazar, said:
"Financial Standard is pleased to announce the appointment of a new journalist, Melanie Timbrell, to the editorial team.
"Prior to joining Financial Standard, Melanie worked at FST Media and Directories Group. She completed a Masters in Journalism with Distinction (Charles Sturt University) and a Bachelor of Business and International Studies at UTS.
"Melanie fills in the role left by Matt Woodington who returned to the UK for personal reasons."
