Australia’s largest self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) administration software provider BGL Corporate Solutions Pty Ltd (BGL) has migrated to IRESS for supply of its managed fund price, dividend distribution and asset allocation data.

IRESS, Australia’s market leader in financial services technology, provides managed fund data under its FundData brand and is an independent supplier of quantitative data for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

IRESS Managing Director, Andrew Walsh, said the data transfer and workflow required by BGL was specifically designed by IRESS to meet BGL requirements and the transition progressed smoothly. “This is a reflection of the considerable time invested by both BGL and IRESS to seamless transition and change management,” he said.

BGL Managing Director, Ron Lesh said BGL made the decision to migrate to IRESS because of its data capability, quality and service. “We were impressed by IRESS’ commitment to meeting our requirements and believe this will give us the opportunity to provide superior quality additional data and services to clients.”

Mr Lesh said the breadth, depth, timeliness and quality of IRESS data, along with its extensive local expertise will provide confidence to the SMSFs which use BGL’s administration and compliance services. BGL clients maintain over 75% of all SMSFs (around 370,000) and BGL supplies ASX and managed fund data to over 140,000 SMSFs each year.
